Maintain your Quooker for optimal performance
A Quooker is built to last 10+ years. But like any kitchen appliance, it needs regular maintenance. The good news: maintenance is minimal and simple.

Step-by-step: descaling the spout
The spout (mouthpiece) of your Quooker may show limescale build-up over time, especially in hard water areas (such as many parts of Belgium).
What you'll need:
- Household vinegar (or Quooker descaler)
- Small glass or cup
- 15 minutes of time
Instructions:
- Fill a glass with undiluted household vinegar
- Submerge the Quooker spout in the glass
- Leave to soak for 15 minutes
- Remove the glass
- Rinse with a short stream of boiling water
- Done!
Tip: Never use aggressive descalers (such as HG). Household vinegar or the official Quooker descaler are safe for the components.
Replacing the CUBE filter
The CUBE contains an activated carbon filter that needs to be replaced annually. The filter ensures the pure taste of your chilled and sparkling water.
Replacement signals:
- Change in taste
- Less sparkling water
- It has been more than 12 months
Steps:
- Open the cupboard door under the sink
- Unscrew the old filter (quarter turn left)
- Insert the new filter (quarter turn right)
- Flush 2 litres of water through
- Done!
Replacing the CO₂ cylinder
The CUBE uses CO₂ cylinders for sparkling water. One cylinder lasts for an average of 60 litres of sparkling water.
How to replace the cylinder:
- Unscrew the empty cylinder
- Screw on the new cylinder
- First glass: let it run for a moment
