How is a Quooker installed?

Installing a Quooker is simpler than most people think. In most cases, your Quooker will be operational within 2-3 hours. Here is the full process, step by step.

What you need before installation

Technical requirements:

Water connection (cold water) under the counter
Power socket under the counter (standard 230V)
Minimum 45 cm free space under the counter (height)
Drill hole in the counter (35 mm for most models)

Step 1: Preparation (15 minutes)

Remove existing tap (for Fusion or Flex)
Check existing drill hole or drill new hole
Empty under-cabinet for access
Shut off water supply

Step 2: Install reservoir (30 minutes)

Place reservoir in the under-cabinet
Connect water supply (cold water in)
Connect boiling water hose (to tap)
Connect power cable
If applicable: Place CUBE next to the reservoir

Step 3: Mount tap (30 minutes)

Place tap through the drill hole
Tighten nut and stabilise
Connect hoses:

Cold water (blue)
Hot water (red) — for Fusion/Flex
Boiling water (special) — from reservoir
CUBE hoses (if applicable)

Step 4: Testing (30 minutes)

Turn on water and perform leak test
Allow reservoir to heat up (first time: 20 minutes)
Test boiling water
Test hot and cold water
Test CUBE (chilled and sparkling)
Demonstrate child-safe operation

Step 5: Explanation and handover (15 minutes)

Demonstration of all functions
Maintenance instructions
Warranty registration
Hand over manual

Frequently asked questions about installation

Can I install my Quooker myself? Technically possible, but not recommended. Installation requires knowledge of water connections and the warranty is only valid with professional installation.

Does a Quooker fit under every counter? In 95% of kitchens: yes. The PRO3 reservoir is only 37 cm high. If in doubt: send a photo of your under-cabinet and we will advise.

How long does installation take? On average 2-3 hours. For a new kitchen with CUBE and COMBI+: 3-4 hours.

Do I need to call a plumber? Not if you choose Crowntap's installation service. Our installers are fully certified.
