Replacing Quooker CO₂ Cylinder: Step-by-Step Guide

The Quooker CUBE delivers delicious chilled and sparkling water directly from your tap. This requires a CO₂ cylinder, which needs to be replaced over time. Fortunately, this is easy to do yourself.

Why and When to Replace?

You'll notice that the CO₂ cylinder needs replacing when the water stream weakens or no more sparkling water comes out. On average, one cylinder provides 60 to 70 litres of sparkling water. A new cylinder costs approximately €35.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Turn off the tap handle for sparkling water
  2. Open the kitchen cabinet under your counter
  3. Locate the empty CO₂ cylinder next to the CUBE
  4. Disconnect the empty cylinder by rotating the pressure regulator counter-clockwise
  5. Remove the protective cap from the new cylinder
  6. Place the new cylinder and tighten the pressure regulator clockwise
  7. Check for leaks by listening for a hissing sound
  8. Test the sparkling water by opening the tap
